Why I've started to use quite harsh methods to get desperate voice to be noticed. The answer is quite simple, nothing else works (I doubt even this is too mild).
Everything started over one year ago when Olli Muurainen, the main owner of Managements Events, bought Billnäs Ironworks. The area is about 4,7 hectares and 11 houses for living and industry. Some of the buildings have been classified as valuable. The river, Karjaanjoki is Natura2000 area and very valuable due many species like thick shelled river mussel (Unio crassus). Karjaanjoki has the biggest population of the world of these mussels. Also siberian flying squirrel (Pteromys volans)uses the riverine forests and is able to cross the river where trees on either side are close enough. And there is a lot of other species and habitats to protect.
Now Mr. Muurainen has decided that he'll develop this area with his own manner with out needing any permits to his actions. First he decided to fell riverine forests. The results You can see here. For example see the bird nest on the ground. The environmental authorities and residents pleaded him not to continue his work but he didn't obey the authorities. As Mr. Muurainen did not have any permits and he is actually forbidden to do tree felling, layman sees his work illegal and totally against the law. Future will show what's the official opinion.
His company is involved financially into his Billnäs Ironworks development. This means that he as the owner of both companies will bind their activities together also in future.
To stop Mr. Olli Muurainen and his unlawful activities I ask everybody to boycott Management Events organized events or any event where Management Events is involved and in any country where this company has activities. Please spread this information to anyone You think would be interested to ensure real sustainable development.
